How do I create an account?

Visit balanceforlifebh.com/get-started and fill out the signup form. You'll need to:

  • Provide your name, email, and create a password
  • Enter a company code (if your employer provides one) OR choose a payment plan
  • Agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

After creating your account on the website, you can download the mobile app and log in with the same credentials.

I created an account but can't log into the app

Make sure you're using the exact same email address you used when creating your account on the website. Common issues:

  • Check for typos in your email address
  • Ensure you're using the correct password (passwords are case-sensitive)
  • If you used "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google" on the website, use the same method in the app
  • Wait a few minutes after creating your account for the system to sync

How do I use a company code?

If your employer provides Balance For Life as a benefit:

  1. Get your company code from your HR department or employee benefits portal
  2. Go to balanceforlifebh.com/get-started
  3. Enter the code in the "Company Code" field when creating your account
  4. If the code is valid, you'll get free access (no payment required)

Your employer covers the cost, giving you free premium access to all features.

What happens after I use my 10 sessions?

After using your 10 included counseling sessions, you can purchase additional sessions at $110 per session through the mobile app. Your account remains active, and you'll continue to have access to:

  • 24/7 AI wellness coaching (Zenn)
  • Wellness journal
  • Expert-led workshops and resources
  • Crisis support resources

Where can I download the mobile app?

The Balance For Life app is available on both platforms:

Important: You cannot create an account directly in the app. You must create your account on our website first, then log into the app with those credentials.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Log into your account dashboard on the website
  • Go to "Billing" or "Subscription" settings
  • Click "Cancel Subscription"
  • You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period

For company-sponsored accounts, contact your HR department about access termination.

The app isn't working properly

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of the app
  2. Close the app completely and reopen it
  3. Check your internet connection
  4. Restart your phone
  5. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app
